Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. crush dried oregano
  • 1/4 cup cold unsalted butter, cut into thin slices
  • 2/3 cup Greek style plain yogurt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped fresh chives

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 400. Line baking sheet with parchment paper or coat with nonstick cooking spray; set aside.

2. Combine flour, sugar baking powder, baking soda, salt and oregano in large bowl; stir well. Cut in butter with pastry blender or two knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add yogurt, milk and sour cream; stir gently to form soft sticky dough. Stir in chives. Drop dough by 1/4 cupfuls 1 1/2 inches apart onto prepared baking sheet.

3. Bake 15 minutes or until light golden brown. Transfer to wire rack to cool slightly. Serve hot or warm.
