Ingredients
- 1 package (1 lb) Plain M & Ms
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped pecans

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
1. Chop 1 1/2 cups of the candies; save the
remainder for decoration
2. Stir together flour, baking soda, & salt.
3. Cream butter and sugars in large bowl until
light & fluffy.
4. Add eggs & vanilla.
5. Gradually beat in flour mixture.
6. Add chopped candies & the nuts
7. Drop by rounded tablespoonful onto lightly
greased baking sheets
8. Bake at 350 degrees for 6 - 7 minutes
9. Remove to oven and bake 3 - 5 minutes or
until light brown
10. Remove from baking sheets and cool
Makes about 5 dozen
