Ingredients
- 2 cups Bisquick
- 4 1/2 cup cups carnation milk powder
- 1 inch thick slice of butter
- milk to mix dough

Preparation
Step 1
1. Melt the butter and add the rest of the ingredients together and make the dough (not too hard).
2. Make small balls and deep fry them in shortening which is not very hot till it becomes golden brown [when you put the balls in the oil it should go down and come up slowly].
3. Make the syrup with 6 cups of sugar and 7 to 8 cups of water, boil it.
4. As soon as balls become brown put them in the syrup while it is still warm.
5. Add essence of cardamom.
Makes about 40.
