Surprise Package Cookies

Ingredients

• Cream together:
• 1 cup butter, softened
• 1 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• Add:
• 2 eggs
• 1 tbsp. vanilla
• Combine in a bowl and add to creamed mixture:
• 3 cups flour
• 1 tsp. baking powder
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 65 andes mint candies

Preparation

Step 1

Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours. Shape a tbsp. of dough around an andes mint. Place on cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove to wire racks to cool.

Melt remaining mint candies in microwave and drizzle over cookies.
