Fresh Churned Butter

I got this recipe from one of The Garlic Press's cooking class. I made it for my family and they loved it. Who knew that something as simple as butter would be so yummy!!! Add some warm bread and you may have a little piece of heaven!

Ingredients
- 1 pint fresh Heavy Cream (my favorite is Dean's Heavy Whipping Cream)
- 1/8 cup sugar to taste
- pinch of salt

Step 1
Make sure you are using the chilled. This includes the mixing bowl, the whisk attachment, the cream, etc.
Put the heavy cream in the mixing bowl and mix on high.
Gradually and slowly add in sugar.
Continue to whip until the cream mixture starts to thicken and separate.
Add salt at the very end.
Put it in an airtight container and it's good for a couple of weeks.
