  • 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teas baking powder
  • 1/2 teas salt
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3/4 cup melted butter
  • 3 large eggs

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 350. Spray a loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray. in a large sauce pan, combine milk and tea bag. ehat milk over medium high heat until steaming. Remove from heat. let stand 10 mintues. Discard tea bag.

2. in a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. In another large bowl, combine teas infused milk, honey, butter, and eggs. gradually add flour mixture to milk mixture, stirring until blended. Pour into prepared pan. bake 50 mintues or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.

Lavender Tea Bread:

Prepare tea bread as directed. Substitute a regular tea bag with an english breakfast tea bag. stir 1 teas dried lavender into batter before pouring into prepared pan.

Green Tea Bread:

Prepare tea bread as directed. Substitute a green tea bag in place of a regular tea bag.

Lemon Almond Tea Bread:

prepare tea bread as directed. Substitute a lemon tea bag in place of a regular tea bag. Stir 1/2 cup toasted sliced almonds, 1/2 teas lemon zest, and 1/4 teas almond extract into batter before pouring into prepared pan.
