Peanut Butter Cookies - B

Ingredients

• 1 cup shortening
• 1 cup white sugar
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 2 1/2 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup peanut butter

Preparation

Step 1

1. Thoroughly cream together shortening, white sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla.
2. Stir in 1 cup peanut butter.
3. Mix together 2 1/2 cups of flour, 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt and add to creamed mixture.
4. Drop by rounded teaspoon onto a greased cookie sheet flatten with a fork.

Bake at 375°F just until lightly browned.
Remove from oven. Cool for a few minutes on the pan.
Remove from pan.
Makes 5 dozen - no way!
