VEGETABLE NUT DRESSING

A favorite recipe of Aunt Freda's. Aunt Freda is Toby's great-aunt (Bucky's aunt).

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup oleo (margarine)
• 2 large carrots, grated
• 2 stalks celery, sinely sliced
• 1 small onion, chopped
• 3/4 cup water or broth
• 3 cups dry stuffing mix, plain (bread cubes)
• 1/2 cup coarsely chopped walnuts

Preparation

Step 1

Melt oleo in skillet. Add vegetables and saute until tender but not brown. Add liquid and simmer 5 minutes. Toss lightly with bread cubes and nuts to blend completely. Bake in greased casserole at 350F for 30-35 minutes
