Not sure where I got this recipe - my mom I think... but it's a favorite!

Ingredients
- BASE:
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup butter
- 4 egg yolks
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- CENTRE:
- 20 oz can crushed pineapple
- cornstarch
- TOP:
- 4 egg whites
- 1 cup brown sugar

Preparation
Step 1
BASE:
Mix ingredients and press into 13" x 9" pan. Bake at 350 till light brown - don't overbake.
CENTRE:
Thicken pineapple with cornstarch over heat. Pour over crust.
TOP:
Beat egg whites with sugar till forming peaks. Spread over centre. Bake at 350 till golden brown
