Chocolate Pound Cake

Ingredients

• 3 cups sugar
• 5 eggs
• 2 cubes marg.
• 1/2 cup crisco
• 1 cup milk
• 2 3/4 cups flour
• 1/2 cup cornstarch
• 1/2 tsp baking powder
• 6 Tbsp cocoa
• 1/2 tsp vanilla
• 1/4 tsp salt

Preparation

Step 1

Cream sugar, marg., and crisco well. Add eggs one at a time. combine baking powder cocoa and salt with flour. Add alternately to creamed mixture with milk.
Mix 1 tbsp of cocoa to flour in pan to eliminate white on cake.
Bake 1 1/2 hour at 350.
