Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb dark bitter chocolate
  • 1 c heavy cream, boiled
  • 1/2 c sliced almonds
  • 2 c heavy cream, whipped
  • 1/2 c cocoa

Preparation

Step 1

Cut chocolate into small chunks, put into bowl, add hot cream and cover for 10 minutes. Using whisk mix, chocolate and cream until thick. Set aside. When it reaches room temperature, whisk in whipped cream, refrigerate overnight. On cookie sheet, toast almonds. Scoop out mousse with icecream scoop. Place on tray. Sprinkle w/cocoa and place dot of cream on mousse for eyes. Prick almonds onto mousse, rount side up.
