Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup Crisco
- 2 1/2 cup sugar
- 5 lrg eggs
- 3 cups flour
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp coonut flavoring
- 1/4 lb. angel flake coconut

Preparation
Step 1
Mix and beat on high speed Crisco and sugar for 10 minutes.
Add eggs, one at a time with mixer on high. Add and mix at medium speed: flour, salt, milk. Add coconut flaoring and angel flake.
Bake in greased floured 10" tube pan. Place cake in cold oven, heat to 325 and bake 1 hour and 25 minutes. Let cool before removing from pan. When cool wrap in foil and refrigerate. Can be kept for several weeks.
