Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lump crab (picked through)
  • 1 egg slightly beaten
  • 1 tbs Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 tbs Gouldens mustard
  • 2 tbs Hellman's mayo
  • 2-3 tbs olive oil
  • 2-3 tbs unsalted butter
  • pepper
  • fresh parsley

Preparation

Step 1

Gently mix all ingredients (except parsley) in a bowl. Cover and let rest in ref for 1 hour. Form crab mixture into 4 patties. Melt butter and olive oil in a cast iron skillet on med heat. Saute crab cakes for apx 5 min on each side or until browned. Sprinkle chopped parsley on top if desired.
