Paige's Chocolate Chip Cookies

A classic chocolate chip cookie recipe, with a few revisions :)

Ingredients
- 2 1\4 C. all purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 \2 tsp. salt
- 1 C. butter, softened (sticks not margarine)
- 3 \4 C. packed brown sugar
- 1 C. granulated sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1 (12 oz) package semi-sweet chocolate chips

Step 1
1. Heat oven to 375 degrees.
2. Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl, set aside.
3. Cream butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy (use mixer). Add vanilla and egg. Beat well. Add in flour mixture slowly until blended. Stir in chocolate chips.
4. Drop tablespoons onto cookie sheet, 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
5. Bake at 375 degrees for 7-12 minutes or until light golden brown. Do not overbake as cookies will continue to cook some on hot cookie sheet.
6. Let set on cookie sheet for 2 minutes. Move to plate or waxed paper to finish cooling.
