Ingredients

1/2 cup shortening or margarine
1 cup sugar
1 beaten egg
2 Tbsp milk
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 3/4 cup flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt

Preparation

Step 1

Cream shortening and sugar. Add egg, milk and vanilla. Beat until fluffy.

Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.

Add to cream mixture. Chill dough.

Bake at 375 for 6-8 minutes
