Ingredients

  • 2 Envelopes of Yeast
  • 1/4 c Sugar
  • 1/2 c Warm Water
  • 1 3/4 c Warm Milk
  • 3 Tbs Butter
  • 2 Tbs Molasses
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 5-6 c Flour
  • 1 c Quick Oats
  • Vegtable Oil

Step 1

1/ Sprinkle yeast, 1 tsp sugar into warm water and stir. Let stand for 10 minutes.

2. Add milk, rest of sugar, butter, molasses, salt and 2 cups flour. Beat until smoth. Add 1 more cup of flour and the oats. Beat until smooth.

3. Add rest of flour and knead about 10 minutes.

4. Cover with plastic wrap then a warm wet towel. Let rest 20 minutes.

5. Grease 2 Loaf pans.

6. Divide dough in half and put into pans. Brush top with oil. Cover pans loosely with plastic wrap. Refrigerate 2-24 hours. Preheat over 375'.

7. Remove loaves from refrigerator. Let stand uncovered at room temp. for 10 minutes.

Bake 375' for 30-40 minutes.
