Ingredients
- 1 cup soft butter
- 2/3 cups sugar
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 teaspoon flavoring (almond or vanilla)
- or 1/4 cup grated almonds
- 2 1/2 cups sifted flour

Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 400 degrees (moderately hot). Mix well butter, sugar, egg yolks, flavoring. Work flour in with hands. Force dough through cooky press onto ungreased baking sheet in bars.
Bake 7 to 10 minutes, until set . . . but not brown. Decorate with bright jelly.
