Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour, sifted
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 8 tbs butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup (2 med or 3 small) mashed ripe bananas
  • 3 TBS sour cream or low-fat yogurt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1-1 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1

1. Oven 350 degrees
2. In medium bowl stir together flour, baking powder, baking soada and salt, set aside.
3. In large mixing bowl (using paddle attachment) cream together the butter and asugar until light and fluffy. Add the bananas, sour cream and vanilla. Mix well.
4. Blend the flour mixture into the banana mixture and stir in nuts and chocolate chips.
5. Pour batter in 9x5" greased baking pan and bake for approx 45" or until the top is firm and golden brown and a toothpick or knife inserted in center comes out clean.
6. Cool completely on a rack before slicing and serving.
