Ingredients

  • 2-3 lb London Broil,minute steak fillet or any similar cut of meat
  • STEAK RUB
  • 2 Tbs olive oil
  • 2 Tbs soy sauce
  • 1-2 cubes garlic
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 2 tsp chicken soup mix
  • Mushroom Sauce
  • 1 large onion,cut in quarters and sliced thinly
  • oil,for sauteing
  • 16 oz fresh mushrooms,sliced
  • 1 Tbs cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 2 cubes frozen parsley
  • 1 cube frozen garlic

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to broil or grill setting. Make a paste using the steak rub ingredients and rub into meat. Broil or grill on high for 5 min on each side. To make the mushroom sauce,saute onion in oil for 5 min over medium heat. Add mushrooms and continue to saute for 5 min. Dissolve the cornstarch in wine and add to the pan with the remaining ingredients. Cook,stirring until slightly thickened. Serve over the steak
