Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup diced onion
- 1 cup diced green bell pepper
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh garlic
- 1 pound ground beef, 80/20
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup long grain white rice
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 14.5-ounce can diced tomatoes with juice
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Preparation
Step 1
In a skillet with Tight fitting lid, heat olive oil over med heat.
Add onion, peppers, garlic, ground beef, dry mustard, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Saute until no longer pink.
Add rice, cook 2 min. letting rice absorb liquid.
Add tomato paste, cook 1 min.
Add canned tomatoes, juice, water, worch. sauce. Stir, cover, simmer 20 min. covered.
After 20 min. remove lid, fluff mixture, serve.
