Ingredients
- 2 cups Gold Medal Flour
- 2 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 3/4 cup water
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup Hershey's Cocoa

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease and flour pans.
Mix all ingredients in large bowl, dry ingredients first. Blend ingredients together then beat 1/2 minute at low speed. Remix ingredients. Beat 3 minutes at high speed.
Bake 45-50 minutes, cool 10 minutes.
