Ingredients
- First Layer:
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup margarine, melted
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts
- Second Layer:
- 1 cup margarine
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 can Eagle Brand milk
- 2 tablespoons corn syrup

Preparation
Step 1
First Layer
Mix sugar and cocoa together. Stir in margarine, eggs, and vanilla. Beat well. Add flour and salt. Stir in chopped nuts. Bake in a greased cookie sheet with a high edge or a 9 x 13" pan, at 350°F for 20 to 25 minutes.
Second Layer
Melt ingredients in a double boiler or a microwave oven. Bring to a small boil. Pour over baked first layer and bake another 10 minutes at 350°F. Cool and top with a chocolate frosting, use a container of frosting - milk chocolate or other type of chocolate frosting.
