Crockpot Lasagna

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef, or turkey, browned and drained
- 8 lasagna noodles, uncooked
- 1 jar spaghetti sauce (28 oz)
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 can mushrooms, optional
- 1 onion, chopped, optional
- 15 ozs ricotta cheese
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese

Preparation
Step 1
1. Break noodles into pieces and place in bottom of greased crockpot.
2. Stir seasoning into browned meat and place atop lasagna noodles. Layer half sauce and water/half mushrooms/half ricotta cheese/half mozzarella cheese over meat. Repeat layers.
3. Cover and cook on low for 5 hours.
Notes: This was great! Success of the dish dependent on the quality of the sauce. We used a Paul Newman jarred sauce - it would have been even better with a nice homemade sauce, but it's a great recipe.
