  • 1 lb Bo Evans Sage Sausage
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 1 cup chopped mushrooms
  • 2 cups chopped celery
  • 10 cups cubed bread - assorted breads add more flavor
  • 1 - 2 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp salt
  • dash poultry seasoning
  • chicken broth or water & bouillon, if needed

Step 1

Cube bread and put in towel covered bowl over night. Brown sausage and drain. Saute onions, celery and mushrooms in butter. In bowl, mix bread, eggs, vegetables and sausage in that order with hands. Stuff in bird or put into greased pan. Sprinkle with chicken bouillon or broth over top. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
