Ingredients
- 3 lbs yams (3-4)
- 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp. butter, softened
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. packed brown sugar for top

Preparation
Step 1
Cook potatoes in boiling salt water (with skins on) until soft. Mash them. Stir in the rest of the ingred. Blend in milk. Put in a butter casserole dish. Sprinkle second amount of brown sugar on top.
Bake at 400F for 30 min. on center rack.
