Ingredients
- Sauce:
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 cup minced onion
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 32 oz. can tomatoes, cut up
- 1 can tomato paste
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. basil leaves
- 1 tsp. oregano leaves
- 1 tsp. dried parsley
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- Heat oil in large skillet, cook ground beef, onion and garlic. Drain excess fat. Add tomatoes, paste, and seasonings. Simmer 45 minutes.

Step 1
Filling:
3/4 lb. ground beef
4 tbsp. minced green onion
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 cups grated mozzarella cheese
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. dried parsley
1 8 oz. pkg. manicotti shells
Stuff manicotti shells, place in 13" x 9" baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until shells are done.
