Ingredients
- 12 tablespoons unsalted butter cut into pieces
- 6 ounces semisweet chocolate, finely chopped
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon anise
- 1/3 cup bourbon
- 1/2 teaspoon orange zest
- 1 tablespoon orange juice
- sugar for rolling

Step 1
Preheat over to 350 degrees and spray rimmed baking sheet with cooking spray with flour.
In small dish microwave butter and chocolate on high in 30 second intervals until melted.
In a bowl whisk eggs, brown sugar, vanilla and salt and then add chocolate mixture, whisking until smooth.
In another bowl whisk flour, cinnamon and anise and then add to egg mixture, stirring until combined.
Pour batter into prepared baking sheet and spread evenly. Bake for 7 to 9 minutes. Let cool and then break brownie into 1 inch pieces and put in a bowl and mix on low, adding bourbon, orange zest, and orange juice until mixture forms a ball. Roll into 1 inch balls and roll in sugar and refrigerate until cold. Can be stored up to a week in refrigerator
