    c & 2 Tbsp flour

  • c sugar

  • tsp salt

  • tsp baking powder

  • 3

    whole, large eggs

  • ½

    tsp butter flavoring

  • ½

    tsp almond flavoring

  • ½

    tsp vanilla flavoring

  • ¼

    c orange juice

  • ¾

    c sugar

  • c milk

  • c cooking oil

  • Tbsp poppy seed

  • tsp vanilla flavoring

  • tsp almond flavoring

  • tsp butter flavoring


Grease two loaf pans. Mix in a large bowl flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, and eggs. Beat with a mixer until smooth. Pour into pans and bake in 325 degree pre-heated oven for one hour. Insert toothpick near center to test for doneness. Heat all remaining ingredients until the sugar is dissolved. Pour over bread after 10 minutes of the bread cooling. Allow the bread and glaze to cool for one hour. Remove to cooling rack until at room temperature and wrap in waxed paper or foil. Freezes well and slices better when the bread is cold.
