Ingredients

  • FOR FILLING:
  • 3 tbsp. butter
  • 4 cooking apples
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp. grated lemon rind
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 Dash nutmeg -- ginger, coriander (any are opt.)
  • 1/3 c. sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Peel and core apples. Slice into 1/2 inch slices.

Melt butter in small saucepan and add apples and lemon juice, lemon rind and spices. Cook over low heat for 5 minutes.

Add sugar and cook until apples are tender. Stir occasionally. Cool slightly. Fill crepes with filling. Can be served with syrup or whipped cream.
