Ingredients

• 1 cup shortening (1/2 part butter)
• 1 1/2 cup sugar
• 2 3/4 cup flour
• 1 tsp soda
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 2 tsp cream of tartar
• 2 tsp cinnamon
• 2 Tbsp sugar

Step 1

Mix together first six ingredients. Shape dough into 1 inch size balls. Roll in mixture of 2 Tbsp sugar and 2 tsp cinnamon. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 400.
