Ingredients

  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Place cream cheese, egg, sugar, and salt in bowl. Beat well, set aside. Just before using, add chocolate chips to above. Beat remaining ingredients until blended. Fill cupcake liners half full and place 1 heaping tbsp. cream cheese and chocolate chip mixture on top of chocolate batter.

Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
