Candy Kiss Cookies

Ingredients

• Sift together:
• 1 1/4 cup flour
• 1 tsp. soda
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• Cream:
• 1/2 cup shortening
• 1/2 cup peanut butter
• Add:
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 1 unbeaten egg
• 2 tbsp. milk
• 1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Beat well. Blend in dry ingredients, mix thoroughly. Shape into balls and roll in sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake at 375 degrees for 8 minutes. Remove and press candy kiss on top, pressing down so cookie cracks around edge. Return to overn for 2 to 3 minutes.
