Ingredients

  • SOUR CREAM CAKE
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 3/4 c regular sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups sifted flour
  • 1 tsp bake powder
  • 1 tsp bake soda
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 6 tbs soft butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup walnuts

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350-grease pan well with butter and flour



IN a bowl cream oil and sugar. Add vanilla and beat in eggs 1 at a time



In another bowl sift bake powder/flour and bake soda



Add to shortening mix add little sour cream at a time, combine with flour mixture. Add 1/2 to a loaf pan, then add brown sugar combo, then add the rest of the flour mixture.



In small bowl combine soft butter, brown sugar, cinnamon and walnuts.


Spread ½ of nut mixture over batter. Add remaining batter over but batter. Top with rest of nut mixture. Bake 50-60 min –let cool reall good.
