  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • Dash pepper
  • 3 c. milk
  • 5 lg. Yukon gold potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced

Preparation

Step 1

In a lg. saucepan over med. heat, melt butter. Stir in the flour, s & p until smooth. Gradually add milk. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 min. or until thickened and bubbly.
Place potatoes in a greased 9 in. square baking dish. Add sauce and stir gently to coat. Cover and bake at 325F for 30 minutes. Uncover; bake 30-40 min. longer or until potatoes are tender.
