Ingredients
- 1 c soft butter
- 1/3 whipping cream
- 2 cups flour
- granulated sugar
- creamy filling: cream 1/4 cup soft butter, 3/4 cup confection sugar, and 1 t. vanilla until smooth and tint with food coloring

Preparation
Step 1
mix butter cream and flour well.
cover and chill
heat oven at 375. Roll out 1/3 of dough at a time on pastry cloth 1/8 inch thick
cut in 1 1/2 inch circles (prescription bottle cap size)
transfer rounds with spatula to piece of waxed paper that is covered in sugar. Cover each round with sugar. prick rounds with fork in put on baking sheet
Bake 7-9 mins or just til set
Put cream filling in between two cookies
