  • 1 c. butter, softened
  • 2 c. smooth peanut butter
  • 4 c. confectioners' sugar
  • 1/4 c. milk

Step 1

Make sure butter is very soft (leave out of the refrigerator for at least 2 hours). Use mixer fitted with a paddle attachment to cream together the butter and peanut butter. Cream on low for 2-3 minutes. Add sugar 1 cup at a time until it comes together, then add milk 1 T. at a time until fluffy. Frost cake/cupcakes immediately. Store any extra frosting in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Frosted items should be kept in the refrigerator.
