My son Michael absolutely loves this pie...if he doesn't eat the whole pie the night before, he will polish it off the next morning for breakfast. I love making it for him whenever he comes home.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup white sugar (depending on how sweet the berries are)
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 4 to 4 1/2 cups blueberries
  • pie crust for base and for lattice
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 425*

Mix sugar, cornstarch and cinnamon, sprinkle over berries
Line pie dish with one pie crust. Pour in berries dot with butter. Cut remaining crust.
Bake pie on lower shelf for about 50 minutes or until golden.
