Ingredients

    Lg. Egg

  • 1

    cup all purpose Flour, (sifted before measuring)

  • 1

    teaspoon Baking Powder

  • ¼

    teaspoon Salt

Directions

Beat egg slightly in small bowl add 2 tablespoons of Water. Sift flour, measure one cup place in medium bowl, add salt and baking powder. Stir well. Add eggs to flour mixture. This will not be a dough. Mix together until crumbly, and will be in small pieces. Add mixture to a sieve and shake loose flour out. The remaining pieces you will drop slowly into boiling Potato or Tomato Soup. Do this slowly, because the Rivels will have a tendency to stick together. Stir as you go, so each piece is surrounded by the hot liquid. Cook about 10 minutes and serves 4.
