Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 lg. onion chopped
- 1 green pepper chopped
- 1 garlic clove chopped
- 2 6-oz. cans tomato paste
- 1 8-oz. can tomato sauce
- 1 14-oz. can stewed tomatoes
- 1 T. Italian seasoning (or fresh basil)
- 1 T. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 T. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 cup water

Preparation
Step 1
Brown beef n a large heavy bottomed pan, then drain off fat. Add onion, green pepper and garlic and saute til onion is tender, about 5 min. Add tomato paste, tomato sauce, stewed tomatoes, seasonings and water. Simmer 30 min. Let cool. Will keep several days covered and refrigerated.
