  • 1 lb. Ground Beef (drain after browning)
  • 1 c. chopped onions
  • 1 c. each green and red peppers chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic chopped
  • 1-16 oz. can diced tomatoes
  • 1 c. dark kidney beans, drained
  • 1 c. tomato sauce
  • 2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp. dried crushed Basil
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. ground pepper
  • TOPPING;
  • 2 tblsp. cilantro
  • 2 tblsp. grated Monteray Jack cheese
  • Sour Cream

Preparation

Step 1

In a skillet brown meat and vegetables. Drain Fat.
Add in sauce pan tomatoes and all the rest of ingredients.
Simmer for 25 minutes, Serves 4 Top with the toppings.
