Ingredients
- Crust and topping:
- 1 C butter
- 2 C brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 t. vanilla
- 2 C flour
- 1 t. soda
- 1 t. salt
- 3 C quick oatmeal
- Filling:
- 1-12 oz pkg chocolate chips
- 1-15 oz can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 T butter
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1 C chopped nuts (optional)
- 2 t. vanilla

Preparation
Step 1
Crust and Topping:
Beat eggs, add butter and sugar and vanilla. Beat. Add rest of ingredients. Spread 2/3 oatmeal mixture in bottom of 9x13 pan.
Filling:
Melt chips, milk, butter and salt together. Add nuts and vanilla.
Pour on top of bottom crust.
Dot chocolate mixture with remaining third of crust/topping mixture.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
