CONNIE'S CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

This is a recipe I adapted from one that was on a Hershey's Chocolate World bag from years ago! If ingredients are added slowly and stirred into the batter slowly, these are the best CCC's on the planet!!

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 3/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 1/4 cups unsifted flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 cups milk chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped nuts, optional

Preparation
Step 1
Cream butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy.
Combine, in separate bowl, flour, baking soda and salt. Add gradually to creamed mixture.
Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375F for 8 to 10 minutes or until light brown.
