This is the original recipe. You should add a lesser amount of the tahini, lemon and garlic and keep tasting it and adding more until it suits you.

Ingredients
- 1 (15 ounce) can chickpeas, drained
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 3 tablespoons tahini
- 2 tablespoons plain yogurt
- 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt

Preparation
Step 1
1. Peel the skins off the chickpeas.
2. Boil the chickpeas for 10 minutes (skin off the scummy stuff that forms as it boils.)
3. Drain but reserve about 1/2 cup of the boiling liquid in a separate cup.
4. In a food processor, add all the other ingredients (except for the reserved liquid) and the chickpeas and blend until smooth. Add addtional water, if needed.
5. Garnish with a good serving of extra virgin olive oil and chopped tomatoes, onions and a little paprika.
