Ingredients
- 1 peck green tomatoes
- 1 large or 2 small heads of cabbage
- 8 medium cucumbers
- 1 TBS tumeric
- 6 large onions (or 8 small)
- 4 large red sweet peppers
- 4 large green sweet peppers
- 6 cups of sugar
- 1 bunch of chopped celery
- 2 1/2 pints of vinegar

Step 1
Gring all of the aboe on a food chopper or blender. Then squeeze out all the juice and put in a big kettle. Add 3 or 4 tsp. of celery seed. Put one small box of pickling spice in a white cloth (cheesecloth) and boil in with all the ingredients. Add 2 or 3 TBS salt. Bring to a boil. AFter that, turn the fire down and simmer 20 to 25 minutes. Add 6 cups of sugar, 1 bunch of chopped celery and 2 1/2 pints of vinegar.
