Ingredients
- 2 round steaks, about 2 lbs. each and cut 3/4-inch thick
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 tsp. pepper
- salt to taste
- 1 green pepper, sliced in strips
- 2 large onions, thinl sliced
- 3 - 4 15oz. cans tomato sauce
- sugar to taste
- carrots and celery optional

Preparation
Step 1
Cut round steak into strips. Place flour, salt and pepper into plastic bag; add steak pieces a few at a time and shake to cover with flour (or may be dredged in flour mixture). Place onion and pepper slices on bottom of crockpot, add round steak strips on top. If using carrots and celery, place these on top of steak. Cover with tomato sauce. Sprinkle with sugar to taste, if desired. Cover. Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 5 hours.
