Ingredients
- 6 slices of bread, crusts removed and buttered
- 1 lb. sausage, browned and drained well
- 1 1/2 cups shreadded sharp cheese
- 6 eggs, beaten
- 2 cups Half 'n' Half
- 1 tsp. salt

Preparation
Step 1
Place bread in greased 9x12 Pyrex dish. Crumble and sprinkle sausage over bread. Top with cheese. Beat eggs, milk and salt. Pour over mixture. Chill overnight. Remove from refrigerator 15 minutes before baking. Bake, uncovered, 45 minutes @ 350F.
NOTE: This is good with grits, fried potatoes and biscuits.
