Walnut Brandies Carrots

Ingredients
- 1 bl mini carrots
- 2 T unsalted butter
- 2 T water
- 1 T unsalted butter
- 1/2 C chopped walnuts
- 2 T brandy

Step 1
Wash and trim carrots.
In sauce heat 2 T butter and add carrots. Toss to coat well with butter. Add water, bring to boil. cover tightly; reduce heat to low and cook 7-10 minutes until tender but not mushy.
Meanwhile, in small skillet, melt 1 T butter, saute walnuts over mediun-high heat for 1 minutes. Stir in brandy and remove from heat.
When carrots are cooked, remove with slotted spoon to heated serving dish and keep warm. Boil cooking liquid vigoroughly until reduced to about 1 T and slightly browned.l Pour over carrots and gently stir in walnuts and brandy.
