Ingredients
- 1 1/4 C sugar
- 3/4 C butter
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1/4 C water
- 1/2 C unblanched almonds
- 1/2 t soda
- 1/2 C blanched almonds
- 1/2 C walnuts
- 1/2 C semisweet chocolate
- 1/2 C chopped walnuts

Step 1
Combine first 4 items, bring to boil. Add unblanched almonds. Cook stirring occasionally to brittle stage in cold water (290 degrees). Add soda, blanched almonds and walnuts. Pour into butter pan (9x9). Spread melted chocolate on top. Sprinkle with walnuts. Break into pieces.
