Ingredients

  • 2 C butter
  • 1 C p. sugar
  • 1 t. vanilla
  • 3 1/2 C flour
  • 1 C pecans (optional)
  • 8 oz white candy coating (white chocolate)
  • 1/3 - 1/2 C crushed peppermint candy

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter and p. sugar. Stir in vanilla. Gradually add flour. Stir in pecans. Refrigerate for 3-4 hours. Roll into 1" balls. Place 2" apart on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 18-20 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool. Microwave and melt candy, stir until smooth. Dip top of cookie ball into candy coating, then into crushed peppermint candy.
