- 3 1/2 cups Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1 cup Butter softend
- 1 8 ounce Cream Cheese softened
- 2 cups Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon Almond Extract
- 1/2 bag mini Chocolate Chips
- 1/2 a bag of mini Chocolate Chips
- 1 tab shortening
- 1 cup Crushed Nuts

Preparation
Step 1
In a medium bowl stir together flour an baking powder. Set aside.
In a mixer bowl beat butter and cream cheese on medium speed for 30 seconds. Add sugar, beat until fluffy. Add egg,vanilla and almond extracts, beat well. Gradually add flour mixture. Add mini Chocolate Chips Chill dough over night. Can be frozen up to 3 months in vapor proof plastic bags.
Let dough stand for 20 minutes. Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Roll into logs 2 inches long. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and shape into crescents. Bake at 375 for 8 to 10 minutes or until edge's are brown. Cool on wire rack.
Melt chocolate and shortening. Dip end of cookies and place on wax paper. Sprinkle with crushed nuts. Let harden.
